The Porsche Slantnose design divides opinions, as many who lived in that era hate it. However, it's 100% unique to the German brand... unless you can convert a Mazda MX-5 into a fake 935.
Recently, we showed you a Slantnose MX-5 design, but that was just a rendering. Little did we know that a company developed something you can actually buy, which looks even better (obviously, that's our subjective assessment).

It's called the Jetstream NA22C kit and it obviously has to come from a crazy Japanese tuner called Jetstream... obviously. That's crazy in a good way. The 22C was also a boxy RX-7 race car, but we're also not going to talk about that.

Now, we weren't able to find out if this has anything to do with the old Jet Stream company, which offered NA headlights that didn't need to go up and down and looked kind of like the ones on the NSX.

Regardless, the kit has "because German racecar" written all over it. They've even made one that kind of looks Jagermeister-themed. The front is completely new and a bit boxier than a normal Miata. The tuners have also added the low-mounted headlights. A widebody kit then grafts itself onto all the fenders, perhaps copying the IMSA race car look.

The back is where things really get interesting. The tuners have designed a completely new hardtop with flat glass and a strong 80s vibe. It's also functional, with a fresh hatchback-style trunk opening. We've found the rear spoiler for sale at $400, and most people say this looks like the one on the 944 series. You be the judge!

The fake Miata race car's last party trick is a large diffuser with a centrally-mounted exhaust pipe. This show car also has a completely cleaned up engine bay and a new super-minimalist racing interior.
