While it might only seem natural to wonder what determines an artist to come up with a virtual build as wacky as the Jeep showcased in this rendering, here's another question. Given the level reached by real-world and pixel projects alike, does such a contraption truly surprise you?
The machine that now sits on your screen started out in life as a 3D model of the previous-generation Jeep Wrangler. And, from that point on, things only started getting closer to the asphalt.
The suspension drop is accommodated by a rather complex aero treatment for the lower side of the vehicle. And while the steel front bumper is still in place, it is now mixed with downforce-generating elements that lead us to believe this Jeep is destined to time attacks.
Who knows? Perhaps Spoon334, the digital artist behind the work, envisioned this as a Pikes Peak athlete. After all, the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb course was paved after the 2011 edition of the race. And with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 having made HEMI power official, we can only imagine this bad boy with such muscle, hence the title of the story.
Of course, the extreme wheel and tire setup also deserves credit for the appearance transformation. So, while the rear wheels are adorned by Turbofan-style caps, the entire front axle had to be relocated for the transformation.
In fact, here's what the artist had to say about the shenanigan: "I guess the side silhouette is quite alluring with that front axle pushed forward, but I messed up the wheel dimensions,"
Oh, and if you happen to feel like this pixel proposal took things a bit too far, then you'd better take a deep breath before checking out this real-world Wrangler project, which was chopped into shape by a French builder.
