Hard American steel pressed into shape by the Italians – that's what the Jeep Renegade offers its potential European customers this year. To draw extra attention to its product, the company under Sergio Marchionne's tutelage has done a very interesting concept that will be shown in a couple of day at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. It's called the Renegade Hard Steel and it comes with a trailer shaped like the back end of the SUV.
Fiat has used brushed metallic finishes before, on the 500L Beats edition for example, but the metallic Renegade looks so good you just want to put it in the Guggenheim museum. It's also clad in all the armor from the Mopar division and has the chunky tires and raised suspension of the Trailhawk models. With 16-inch alloy wheels shod BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires, nobody will dare to call this a soccer mom's crossover.

As for the trailer, well it looks like something Xzibit dreamed up on Pimp My Ride. It's shaped like the back end of the Jeep and it even has lights and a bumper. Open it up and you discover it has been equipped with a WiFi hotspot and a massive touchscreen display that gives you access to a number of apps including Deezer, TuneIn Radio, Reuters, Tom Tom LIVE, Facebook and Twitter.

If you look at it seriously, the trailer is kind of useless. After all, who goes camping and says "I might not have a tent, but at least there's this WiFi hotspot that I towed here." But we bet if Jeep made these trailers they'd sell like hotcakes.
