James Glickenhaus' Ferrari P4/5 Competizione claimes the fastest time set by a Prancing Horse on the 'RIng at this year's Nurburgring 24h race, but when we reported that we forgot to tell you that, being a good Ferrari, the vehicle also caught fire during the race and we're now back with a photo that shows how it burning.
We're joking of course, the flames appeared due to a fuel spill, so it wasn't necessarily the car's fault, but with all the supercar fires that constantly take place, we just couldn't help it. However, the fact that this happened makes the victory even more impressive.
In fact, this brings some extra sense to the "blood, sweat and tears" on which records are based. As you can see in the adjacent photo, which comes from luxury4play, the fire had the potential to seriously damage the car, but things were fortunately kept under control.
