Tuning your car might seem like a good idea, but this only true if you thoroughly check the operations that are being performed on your vehicle. What happens if you don't? The result can be a disastrous one, as the adjacent image shows.
In this photo, we have an Audi RS6, whose owner wanted to play with more than the 580 hp stock horses the vehicle had to offer. Thus, his car was heavily modified and he reportedly took it out for a high speed driving session, came back to his house and parked it.
When he returned to the car, he found it in the state that can be seen in the photo. It is unclear what caused the fire, but it is believed that excessive heat coming from the brakes started it all. So, while we can’t be sure if this is true or if the mods had anything to do with it, it’s always best to make sure that your tuning operations are safe.
