America first received a taste of what Jaguar is cooking earlier this year during the Superbowl halftime. The amazing acting of Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong capture everyone's attention and the video quickly became viral webwide. However, the Brits who actually make the amazing Jags never got to see the ad, not on the telly at least… until now.
"Good to be Bad" made its official UK broadcasting debut yesterday, during the half-time break of the UEFA Champions League match between Manchester United and Bayern Munich. According to Jaguar, over 2.2 million folks tuned in, with more to follow as the ad will continue to be run in a mixture of one minute and 30-second executions throughout April and May on ITV1, Channel 4 and Sky Atlantic.

Ken Forbes, Jaguar UK Marketing Director said: “The new F-TYPE Coupé is the most exciting sports car Jaguar has ever produced, so this advertisement and supporting campaign had to be equally engaging. The ‘British Villains’ theme has already proved extremely popular, with more than 12 million views for ‘Rendezvous’ recorded online. I am delighted that during April and May, the best in British film talent will be seen on screens across Great Britain as part of this innovative Jaguar campaign.”

In case you didn't notice, these three British actors played a number of famous villains over the years. We'll start with Tom, since he's the one with the most fangirls. His star role is that of bad brother Loki, the god of mischief causing Thor all sorts of problems, including in blockbuster The Avengers. Kingsley meanwhile played the fake Mandarin (sorry for the spoilers) in Iron Man 3. Arguably a lot better was his role in 2010's Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time. Of course, his acting karma is balanced out by his 1982 role as Gandhi. As for Mark Strong, he played awesome but little known villains in Sherlock Holmes, Kick-Ass, Robin Hood, RocknRolla and more.

If you saw Jaguar's commercials for the first time on Brit TV, we want to know what you though. Let us know in the comments section below.
