After a picture of the Jaguar F-Type Roadster was uploaded by a Facebook user, we were questioning its authenticity, yet now Jaguar has stepped in and posted a high-resolution version of the same picture, in order to clear up all doubts regarding its origin.
No other details were released, but we can see that the F-Type looks considerably like the C-X16 Coupe Concept, which Jaguar showed last year. Also, we can clearly see that the cars have an ‘S’ badge on the front grille, meaning that they are propelled by the higher-powered version of Jaguar’s new supercharged V6, which pumps out 375 hp.
The ‘S’ will sit above the regular F-Type, which will most likely be powered by a de-tuned version of the V6, which will put out 335 hp - 40 hp less than the ‘S’. More details on the new F-Type will be made public, as it makes its public debut, at the Paris Motor Show, later this month.
