British automaker Jaguar is considering building an ultra-high-performance F-type model, powered by a supercharged V8 that could make 600 bhp.
The high performance F-type is believed to be in the planing stage. Jaguar boss Adrian Hallmark didn’t confirm it exactly, but he gave a hint that more limited series cars like the XKR-S GT will likely be produced, due to their marketing value.
Hallmark also said that the engineers had experimented with a higher-output version of the current supercharged 5-liter V8, narrowing down for us the future engine option for the super F-type.
Although the high-performance F-type is anticipated, it is not certain that this will be the car that may come out, as the company also has plans for another batch of limited edition XFR-S GT.
