After putting their efforts together for the 2013 Formula One season, Japanese automaker Infiniti and British Red Bull Racing team are set to work on developing performance street cars as well.
The Infiniti IPL high-performance line isn't exactly the BMW M3 or the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG rival the carmaker was expecting, but this might change with a little help from Red Bull Racing.

We don't have too much information about this future project, but is seems like Red Bull Racing will collaborate with Infiniti on the latter's IPL high-performance division.

According to Car and Driver, the first Infiniti project Red Bull Racing will be working on is the upcoming Q50 IPL. If you're not aware of what the British can do to a Infiniti, you'd better look into the FX Sebastian Vettel Edition.

Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) was launched in august 2010.
