What we're about to see today is probably considered impossible by many. We all know and love the iconic Nissan GT-R for its unique and legendary looks, specs, and performance. However, some men took it upon themselves to make it look like Nissan was just playing around when they made even the most recent models. One guy managed to transform his GT-R to deliver a whopping 2,400 hp. Can you guess how fast he finished the quarter mile?
TX2K, otherwise known as the "Super Bowl of street car racing," recently took place at the historic Texas Motorplex from Ennis, Texas. During this wholesome event, people drag race, roll race, bump into each other at 200 mph, you name it.

Some of the most exciting and breathtaking things at TX2K24 involve the people who dare to dream: the tinkerers, or simply called the "what if" people. They are the ones who put the laws of the Universe to the test in order to reach new heights and set unseen records. Well, at least when it comes to the phenomenal Nissan GT-R.

Our first open-eyed dreamer calls himself DennisGTR and drives a Nissan GT-R R35 built by some folk over at "ppc_brad." This beast has been tuned to push 65 PSI (pounds per square inch) of boost through two precision turbos.

If that doesn't sound like much, know it helps deliver 2,400 hp or 2,433 ps with an unknown torque count. And yes, it does stand up on two wheels. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is famous for "standing up" with 1,025 horsepower, let alone a car with at least double that power.

Using the "dragy" app, he managed to get from 0 to 62 mph or 100 kph in merely 1.63 seconds. Then, from 62 to 124 mph or 100 to 200 kph, it took just 1.85 seconds. That means 0-124 mph in just 3.48 seconds. From 124 to 155 mph or 200 to 250 kph, it took just another 1.58 seconds.

Dennis crossed the 1/8-mile mark in just 4.86 seconds at 157.8 mph (254 kph) and the 1,000 ft. mark in 6.21 seconds at 180 mph (290 kph). The 124 to 186.4 mph (200-300 kph) stretch took 3.21 seconds. Finally, he finished the 1/4-mile in a blistering 7.36 seconds at a staggering 196 mph or 316 kph. Now that's a dream come true.

The R35 was first presented during the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show and was equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 twin turbo that produced 473 ps or 480 hp and 434 lb-ft or 588 Nm of torque. It's come a long way since then.

The 2023-unveiled supercar killer dons a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 565 hp or 573 ps with 467 lb-ft or 633 Nm of torque. A far cry from the 2,000+ hp modded engine from TX2K24, but the stock trim is no slouch either.
