In today's modern world, it can be rather difficult to find that classic millionaire styling that we've seen in movies growing up. Well, it seems that I've come across just that, and the Caprice superyacht is the beast to have it all.
Folks, today we'll be exploring a little piece of floating heaven dubbed the Caprice. It's a vessel built in 1994 that's been recently put up for sale for no more than $2,795,000 (€2.6M at current exchange rates). While that's nothing new, what blew me away when I first encountered the Caprice is the way it hides an exclusive, clearly custom, and lavish interior worthy of the finest Riviera homes.

Now, if you've had a chance to check out the image gallery, you understand what I'm talking about. Hand-carved woods mingle with marble and granite, only to be highlighted by leather and semiprecious metal trimmings, not to mention Art Deco pieces everywhere. We all know the saying that they just don't make them like they used to.

To get a better idea of what this ship has to offer, let's take a little trip through imagination and pretend we won this ravishing machine. Heck, if you've got the cash ready to fly, you won't even need to pretend; head down to Fort Lauderdale and check it out for yourself.

Yet, for those of us who aren't made of money, we can begin our journey into the Caprice by waking up in that art-filled master suite with walk-in closets, a 'shiny' ceiling fixture, and his and hers bathroom that looks ripped out of an Italian interior design magazine.

From here, there are multiple ways to go about the day. For example, if you're the sort of person who likes to dine with a view, you could access the sun deck above the rest of the ship and even grab some vitamin D while having your OJ. Don't worry; you won't be cooked to a crisp as there's a removable bimini that can be accessed.

If, however, your eyes are half-shut from the delicacies of the night before, just head to the indoor dining area, where a lacquered, lathed, and hand-carved wood table set will make you feel like royalty while enjoying your eggs benedict. A massive skylight overhead and large windows all around let just enough natural light into the area to prepare you for the world outside.

Nonetheless, before we head outside, there's one other space that requires our attention: the main lounge. After all, it was this space alone that jolted my mind into completing an article about this floating millionaire home.

Why is this space so unique and worthy of attention? From a matching table set with the one seen in the dining room to leather-filled seating areas and entertainment centers to the ritzy and "Martini, shaken, not stirred-" worthy bar tucked away in the corner, all of this space screams opulence, and in a most tasteful way. None of that gaudy stuff.

Do take a moment to picture yourself here, refreshing with a coffee or some light alcoholic beverages - why not? This is a vacation machine; live it up - all the while enjoying a view of the world around you. Maybe even make plans for the day, heading out to that little island you see on the horizon.

Once we take our first few steps onto this ship's deck, we'll find ourselves in the midst of yet another lounge, this time around, flooded by natural light from all sides. Above, part of the superstructure offers a tad of shade so you don't come back from your trip looking like a rotisserie chicken from Costco.

If, however, frying yourself with the sun's rays is your thing, the Caprice offers plenty of space where to do that, whether it be down on the beach club platform, at the bow, or back up on that sun deck I mentioned earlier.

While up on the ship's highest point, you may have noticed a tender looming in the background and that Novu Rania tender is included in your purchase of the Caprice, and so is a three-person Waverunner. Intimate lunches on hidden island beaches just got real!

Now, I understand that for most of us, myself included, nearly $2.8M is a whole lot of cash. But, what if we're actually going about this whole yachting thing all wrong? What I mean to say is that the Caprice is a ship that can accommodate eight guests.

This means that you and seven other friends can each take part in owning this ship, which will only cost each of you just $350K. Yes, for the price of some RVs, you and your gang can live it up on a whole new level. You'll only have to worry about docking and other upkeep costs, not to mention all the fuel needed to help this 126-foot (38 m) Oceanco machine hit its top speed of 18 knots. What do you have to lose? That's what I thought.
