Let’s say you are driving to a new place and you get hungry on the way there. You’d like to eat at your destination but you have no idea of what restaurants are in the area. Luckily, the Toyota Touch 2 with Go comes with some features to aid you in that matter.
First of all, you’ll need a smartphone with internet access. Then you’ll need to connect it with the Toyota Touch 2 system. Then you can either choose the Google or Panoramio service from the Toyota Online menu to search for locations near your destination.
For the Google search, press the afferent application icon then press “Add destination” and enter the desired place of interest, like “Pizza” or anything you like. Press OK and then select one of the locations listed. You’ll get more info on the location and by clicking “Go” the navigation will be set to drive you there.
The Panoramio feature works almost the same way - enter the destination and the map will show you pictures of some of the most interesting places to go around there.
