Now that you have a Toyota Touch 2 account, you can pair the system with your smartphone and use all the cool features.
Connecting your smartphone with the Toyota Touch 2 system will allow you internet access (if that is included in your mobile data plan), make calls using the system and access your music stored on the phone.
The tutorial here is shown using an iOS phone, but the process should be similar for Android or Windows phones. Here are the steps:
Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is active and the device is discoverable
On the infotainment system go to “Setup” and press the “Connectivity” option
Then select “Bluetooth” and in the next menu go for “Search device”
When your phone is discovered, select it and agree to connect
To allow internet connection on your Toyota Touch 2 make sure your Hotspot option on the telephone is active
Next, go to “Connectivity” in the infotainment system “Setup” menu and press “Connect me to Internet”
