It is recommended that you replace the air filter in your car each time you change the engine oil and the oil filter.
Doing the replacement job on the Toyota Avensis is no different from other models. You’ll need just the replacement air filter and these steps bellow.
Open up the hood and locate the air filter’s case on the driver side
Undo the safety clamps on the case’s right side
Lift the top part of the case and extract the filter
Put the new filter in and make sure you put it the right way up
Close the case and secure it with the clamps.
