Few cars in the history of BMW have been as controversial as the new 3 Series GT. Everyone has its own opinion of the new, bigger 3er and none of them agree. Honest John had to join in the fight and see what's what.
However, during his review of the car, his camera got stolen and he got to really test out the GT. According to him, he chased down the thieves while filming in Italy and they must've been scared and decided to leave the camera in the nearest town, at the police station.
So, even though John wanted to say that the car he had felt a bit slow and underpowered in the 318d guise, the unfortunate and ad-hoc event proved him wrong and the car was actually quite good, exceeding his expectations.
The advantages of the GT 3er are more than obvious and, when presented in the typical Honest John manner, this review is bound to be funny. Enjoy!
