The Honda Fit EV is the greenest car ever tested by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), except for the now-defunct Tesla Roadster S (119 MPGe), achieving the equivalent of 118 MPGe, so is definitely a great choice for a small electric car for city usage.
Well, buying a car isn’t your plan, you will be able to lease one in both Oregon and California, at a fixed price of $389 payable each month. This will give you an autonomy of 131 km (82 miles), a definite improvement over one of its ‘rivals’, the Mitsubishi i, which costs a more reasonable $249 a month and offers a range of 100 km (62 miles).

Sadly, unlike the Mitsubishi, there is no option to buy the Fit, so whatever you do, Honda will take it away from you in the end. But, at $389 per month, with no down payment, it is a good deal for those who want to try electric motoring without actually buying an EV.
