Honda has announced a voluntary recall of 143,000 units of the Fit subcompact hatchback due to malfunctioning power window switches. Not really life threatening perhaps, but still an issue that needs to be fixed, right?
This is actually the second Honda recall to fix problems with the cars' door-mounted switch panels. According to the official statement, liquids that come into contact with the witch panel on the driver's side can cause the electronics to overheat and potentially ignite.

We say "potentially" because no incidents have yet to be reported. The affected subcompact cars belong to the 2007 and 2008 models and owners will be contacted to schedule a dealer visit starting with the middle of July.

Editor's note: Is Honda having a fit? Did they make a missFit? No? OK, I'll stop the jokes.
