Honda Civic Gets Driver Assistance Safety Pack

Honda has announced that its new Driver Assistance Safety Pack will become available on the British-built Civic hatchback and Civic Tourer models from 2014.
The safety pack, which includes City-Brake Active System, Forward Collision Warning, High Beam Support, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitor, will be a £780 option on all SE Plus, SR and EX Plus models.

"The sophisticated sensor-based technologies included in the Pack help avoid a collision and ensure that high levels of safety are affordable and accessible to a wide range of customers within the compact family-car segment," Honda UK said in a statement.

As a reminder, the Honda Civic hatch starts from £16,995, while the Civic Tourer is priced from £21,375. More details on the new Driver Assistance Safety Pack are available in the official press release below.
