I absolutely dig the Indonesian customs scene as it's a place where moto artists’ creativity roams free.
Let’s set things straight; Jonathan Evan’s Minority Custom is among the apex predators of Indonesia’s bespoke moto food chain. The Surabaya-based enterprise hosts some genuine talent under its roof, to say the least. For a clear demonstration of the crew’s remarkable abilities, we’ll be diving in for a closer analysis of their work on a 1998 Honda CB400 Super Four.

The donor motorcycle in question is powered by a liquid-cooled inline-four engine that prides itself with a respectable displacement of 399 cc and four valves per cylinder. This piece of Japanese machinery will be more than happy to deliver as much as 53 hp at 10,000 rpm, while a solid torque output of up to 30 pound-feet (40 Nm) will be summoned at around 7,500 revs.

A five-speed transmission is tasked with channeling the engine’s force over to a chain final drive, leading to a generous top speed of 114 mph (184 kph). Furthermore, Honda’s mid-sized beast is perfectly capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 5.2 seconds.

Evan’s crew kicked things off by removing the standard wheels to make room for a pair of 17-inch forged counterparts with three spokes on both ends. Their rims are hugged tightly by top-shelf tires from Michelin’s inventory. At the front, the Super Four’s refurbished forks are gripped by a bespoke aluminum top clamp that’s been manufactured in-house.

You will find a single aftermarket gauge sitting atop the aforementioned component, while a retro-style LED headlight and custom turn signals are hosted between the fork legs. At the rear, we notice a loop subframe supporting a one-off tail unit with integrated LED lighting items, as well as a single-seater leather saddle that keeps it classy.

In terms of powertrain upgrades, Minority Custom’s surgeons installed one neat stainless-steel four-into-one exhaust system. Furthermore, CB400’s carbs were retuned to suit the fresh pipes. The finishing touch comes in the form of a two-tone color scheme, incorporating grey, black, and a slim white pinstripe.

Ladies and gents, this is what we’d call a showstopper!
