Honda has created a, for lack of a better word, hot version of the Jazz people mover under the usual Si badge. The car was introduced unnoticed at the Geneva Motor Show, and we thought that it looks like a bit of fun so we’ll give it a quick look.
Honda says that the mechanicals of the Jazz have been revised to created the Si, with the car sporting new dampers and even a set of revised 16-inch wheels. The Si version of the Jazz also has a sculpted body kit that enhances the sporty looks.
The sad news is that while it looks hot, the Jazz Si is still powered by the 98 hp 1.4-liter i-VTEC engine with manual transmission. This four-cylinder unit develops its maximum power at 6,000rpm and has a peak torque output of 127Nm (94 lb-ft) at 4,800rpm.
Performance figures? Well, top speed is now 113 mph, but the standard sprint remains unchanged.
