Upgraded Honda Jazz Available from AUD16,990 in Australia

Honda's Australian division has just announce that the upgraded Jazz is better value for money than ever before, offering a number of features as standard, with a new drive-away price and improveded financial aid through the company’s own network. Australian customers will now be able to take home a new Jazz from just AU$16,990 drive-away for a GLi manual.

Honda Finance will also help you get a new Jazz from only AU$54 a week for the GLi manual. For the money, a number of standard features come as standard for the compact people carrier, including a five-star ANCAP safety rating, Honda’s electronic stability control system (called VSA), six airbags and a Multi-information Display. It also has USB connectivity for your iPod and MP3 player and a Bluetooth phone system, features not standard with some of Jazz’s competitors.

“The new Jazz has everything we know and love; its Magic Seats, its practicality and of course, its fun personality. You can now take home a Jazz from as little as $16,990 drive-away. With all these standard features, the Honda Jazz is great value for money,” said Honda Australia General Manager Sales and Marketing, Mr. Stephen Collins.

Last month, Honda’s Australian arm announced that the Jazz had received a five-star ANCAP rating, the highest possible. The Jazz comes with multiple active and passive safety features that allowed it to achieve this and we’d like to get into the details.

The revised Jazz is now fitted with Honda’s Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), a system that combines individual brake control, engine power and Traction Control to keep the car on the track. The Jazz relies on an Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) Body Structure that keeps the passenger cell untouched in case of an impact.
