Hill Climbing Is Not for Everybody

There are things we humans don't believe we can do, and sometimes, determination and even a bit of luck help us reach beyond the limits we somehow longed for, and even go further.
However, when it comes to riding a bike up a steep hill needs more than determination and some luck... and such a lesson was taught by Professor Gravity to a rider. Sorry to say it, but too many pounds over a certain weight limit are definitely not a helping hand when riding off the road.

Even more, with the bike extremely prone to lose ground contact with the front wheel when riding up steep slopes, overweight riders have a major disadvantage, as the weight distribution works hard against them.

Exceptional balance and long-honed skills on less extreme uphill roads are critical preparation before attempting very difficult tracks. And when they miss, crashes like the one in this video happen.

Despite we can bet he was heavily bruised by the nasty fall he took and lack of torso armor, we're happy to see him wearing a full-face helmet. We hope he was alright, and maybe next time he;ll get a bigger, more powerful bike to help him gain more speed and avoid such crashes.
