When it comes to tuning the BMW X6, Hamann is probably the company to go to. For the previous model they had some rather outrageous kits that turned the cars into veritable monsters on the road. Apart from engine tuning, they also could’ve been decked with a plethora of body parts. We even tested one and fully understood why the exhaust pipes were so big.
The thing is, the new X6 is so massive and looks so mean that making it even more hardcore without becoming kitschy will truly be a challenge. In the meantime, the German tuner put the car on some of its wheels and completely changed its look. It’s rather interesting to see how much of a difference just a set of new wheels makes.
Therefore, in the gallery below you’ll find BMW’s latest Sport Activity Coupe on four sets of wheels, all of them measuring a whopping 23” in diameter.
If you’re interested in buying them you should know that the models shown in the photos are the the EVO Black Line with silver lips, the Anniversary EVO line in silver and the Evo Hyper Black. Of course, these are the standard colors but if you want, we’re sure Hamann will oblige to paint them in a different hue.
All the wheels shown here are forged and have a lightweight construction to keep the handling in check. Of course, once you go with 23” rims, you can’t expect your car to be comfortable anymore.
In the meantime, BMW also offers a couple of interesting designs for its standard wheels. When it leaves the facotry, the X6 comes with 19” rims but you can have your pick out of no less than 9 models overall, including the 20” alternatives. The most expensive set is the 451 model that comes with a €1,800 price tag.
