Sick of your Scion’s body color, or it’s too scratched? Well, if you don’t have money for a repaint or at least a wrap, here’s a cheap idea on how to make your ride look cool again with a few bucks.
These guys in the video bellow took care of a friend’s Scion tC that had all the body paint damaged and keyed with swears all over the place. So they decided to cover it with black chalkboard paint.
They got a couple of paint cans, some tape and newspapers to cover the parts that didn’t needed a matte coat, as well as some brushes. They didn’t even bothered to sand the old paint. Just a thorough wash, let it dry up and applied the chalkboard paint.
The result is pretty neat for a car that has been painted with a brush. It looks just as if it’s a wrap. Take a look in the video bellow.
