We’ll be seeing him soon enough in Ridley Scott’s new religious film called “Exodus,” but till then Joel Edgerton enjoys an outdoor outfit change at the back of his Subaru Outback. The “Great Gatsby” star was spotted in Sidney after finishing up with the aforementioned movie in Spain and he definitely gave the paparazzi some interesting shots.
Apparently, the Australian actor enjoyed the sunny weather in a pair of shorts and instead of going somewhere to change, he decided that the back of his Subaru and a towel was more than enough. As we’re talking about a wagon, one can imagine the spacious interior this particular vehicle has. So, we can actually understand why Edgerton didn’t feel the need to go somewhere inside and change into his pants.
Moreover, besides the obvious comfort factor, this car also comes with numerous standard features such as Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, a four-speaker stereo, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control as well as a nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Of course this isn’t all as such a big vehicle surely promises a lot more. Furthermore, the Subaru Outback is pretty powerful, sporting a four-cylinder engine and a standard all-wheel drive.
From a design point of view, the Outback looks rather good, being all about massiveness. The actor opted for an all-black look that make the car look quite mean. Still, it is quite fitting Joel Edgerton as we can’t help but associate it with Tom Buchanan’s character in the Great Gatsby.
