Lamborghini's front-engined GTs have been missing from the carmaker's range for decades and with the rumors of a return still floating around, the rendering we have here offers us a few clues on how such a Grand Tourer would look like.
The image simply takes the "standard" Lamborghini Huracan and relocated the engine from behind to in front of the seats. And with this being done by pixel master The Sketch Monkey, the homework is well covered.

In fact, if you're willing to go through all the little steps that define the said journey of the Italian motor, make sure to check out the YouTube clip at the bottom of the page, which showcases the process, with the digital artist taking us through each and every step.

Keep in mind that we almost received a new-age Lamborghini GT in the form of the Estoque four-door coupe, which landed at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. However, this was cancelled, with Sant'Agata Bolognese eventually building the Urus, which almost helped the company double its sales in the first half of 2019.

Then again, there's still room for a fourth model line in the Raging Bull lineup. And this is where the said GT could come in - the thirst for such a model is so great since the last front-engined Lambos were the Espada and Jarama of the late 70s.

And since the company wants to be perceived as less intimidating (here's an interview with Lamborghini EMEA CEO Andrea Baldi talking about the changes the company is going through), such an usable model would fit this new philosophy like a glove.

As I've once again notice while reviewing the Huracan Evo, the same change has also determined Lamborghini to make its machines friendlier to their drivers, which means the tech ingredients for such a GT are also prepared. So here's to hoping we get one.

Meanwhile in the real world, keep in mind that aficioandos have gone as far as fitting the Huracan with a manual tranny.
