With the way the housing market seems to be moving, it won't be long before we need to start paying upwards of a couple of million dollars just to own a property in a decent neighborhood. For that sort of cash, why not buy a darned yacht!?
Folks, I understand it may be odd to see a yacht floating across your device's screen, but the fact that the Iguazu, which literally means "big water," is selling for a reasonable €2.6M ($2.8M at current exchange rates) is worth the attention. Oh, and just wait until you see the interior. Come to think of it, take the time to explore the image gallery before going through the rest of this text.

If you're like me, a person who's seen a fair share of boat and yacht interiors, then you probably drew the same conclusion I did: the Iguazu has one of the most clean and modern interior designs I've seen in quite some time. Furthermore, it has such a strong, homey feeling that I just can't help but be drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Simply put, I just love it!

If you're wondering who may be responsible for such flawless work, none other than Barbara Pensoy, an interior designer whose works range from resorts to mansions and yachts. The blend of materials, colors, and textures all dance together in tons of natural light offered by the large glass windows all around the ship.

Take a moment and picture yourself lounging around in the main saloon during sunset with friends and family all around. It literally doesn't get any better. Oh, if interior spaces such as these aren't really your thing, just take a step outside and have a seat at the alfresco dining table found aft on the main deck.

Aside from the large dining set and lounge pads found on the main deck, at the bow of the ship, yet another sunbed is found, suitable for at least three Casper-like bodies in need of some Vitamin D. This area also features a little space, and if you're like me, I'd toss a sleeping bag in the middle of the night, and crash under the stars.

Speaking of "under the stars," I invite you to explore the highest point on the Iguazu, the sun deck. Here, we begin to understand even more as to what activities this ship is destined for, doing absolutely nothing. Aside from large couches fit for all guests aboard and more sunbathing options, a console that's possibly hiding some cold ones can be spotted. If things get too hot, hide under the bimini or head back down below.

Now, Iguazu isn't the largest floating palace around, coming in with a length of just 77 ft (23 m). But, as small as it may be compared to other billionaire and millionaire toys, this vessel is still suitable for up to 8 guests and, get this: it has a beach club and one that can support a tender too. Smaller toys can be brought along as there's plenty of space for inflatable SUPS, snorkeling and diving gear, and a couple of others.

After you're done with all the daily activities of exploring the local coves and reefs or just plain blasting around on a jet ski, it's time to retire to the Iguazu for some well-deserved rest, assuming the evening activities are also through.

To give your mind and body the rest and sleep they need, guests are offered several staterooms styled in a similar fashion to the main lounge, that of minimal, fresh, and modern styling. But my favorite design feature is the way some of the windows integrated into the hull are right next to the bed. Imagine waking up here, seeing and feeling your significant other next to you, and you nudge him or her awake to simply get a morning view of where you may be today. Absolutely magical!

Now, that's the lifestyle magic you'll be able to experience, but this is a ship that demands €2.6M from its future owners; it has to be a whole lot more than just eye-catching. With that in mind, allow me to point out that this puppy was born only four years ago, in 2019, and by yachting standards, the Iguazu is barely learning how to use its muscles.

Speaking of muscle, Caterpillar is the crew providing two 1,000 HP engines that will have you and your friends cruising around at speeds upwards of 10 knots (11.5 mph). Again, cruising; once we consider the composite hull of Iguazu, crafted from vinyl ester resin, top speeds are bound to be a tad higher. Oh, with a load of 5,000 l (1,320 gals) of fuel, 1,500 nautical miles (1,726 miles) of exploration is possible.

At the end of the day, I have no idea of knowing if you're into yachts or not, but if it's ever been on your mind, and you've got a solid nest egg sitting around, why not look into what I'd call the "deal of the century!" If you think it's a lot, think about things this way: you and seven other friends or family members can split the price, and suddenly, you own a yacht for around $350K, half the price of some RVs.
