Before the 2014 Kia Soul was brought to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the South Korean company decided to entice us with a couple of photos of the model that seemed rather peculiar.
That's because the car in the photo shoot was fitted with what the company calls "SUV Styling Pack", a new option for European-market models, that makes the crossover more aggressive.
The SUV Styling Pack includes blacked-out lower fascias, wheel arches and side skirts with a similar roof and pillars (excluding the C-Pillar), just as you can see in the photos, along with new alloy options.
That's not all that's new about the 2014 model though. The second generation Soul will be using the latest cee'd platform, will have improved emissions, increased interior and luggage space and more customizing options.
Unfortunately for the US market, this option won't make it across the Atlantic, according to Kia representatives. Across the EU though, the 2014 Soul will be available starting with Spring.
