Road Atlanta hosted the second round of Formula Drift Pro Championship 2013 on May 10-11. The 2.54-mile track's 12 turns became the perfect venue for some of the coolest tire-burning action of the year.
However, you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs, and all didn't go according to plan.

During a head-to-head battle between Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Fredric Aasbo, a major crash took place. Coming strong from the starting line, Gittin's Mustang overtakes the white and orange Scion tC. It smashes into the left wing and rides up on the hood, pulling the front bumper clean off.

Fortunately, both drivers finish out the race. But the people who watch drifting for the crashes were probably very happy last week.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
