Porsche's Young Driver Academy Is Calling You

Porsche is one of the most motorsport-connected producer in the automotive world, so the carmaker makes constant efforts to up its racing ante. The latest step down this road sees Porsche releasing a promo video for its Young Driver Academy.
The German automakerr is introducing its first annual Porsche Young Driver Academy at Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Porsche ows a lot to names such as Jacky Ickx and Mark Donohue and the company's goal with the new project is simple: to recreate that success.

The clip below is a short documentary that aims to give us an idea of what's happening in the life of a yound driver who's looking to climb the Porsche racing ladder.

The company throws in some footage of a delicate moment when a youngster has to face the spin-inducing rear-engined handling of the 911. The outcome can be seen behind the "play" button.
