Earlier today we showed you an Interlagos Blue BMW E92 M3 receiving a brand new Macht Schnell stage 2 air intake at European Auto Source. We thought that some of you might not have the chance to reach the tuner in Anaheim, California and get that kit installed for free and you might have to do it yourself.
That's why we looked around and found a useful DIY on E30Post.com. This one is more generic, but the essential steps can be followed for almost any custom/performance/aftermarket air intake.
All you need to change your intake is a screwdriver, 3 torx tools (15, 20 and 25) and, of course, the new intake. Whether you'll go with the Macht Schnell model, GruppeM or any other one, the steps remain basically the same and you can find them here.
