Former US Secretary Of State George Shutz and His Nissan Leaf

While we tend to think that whatever is new and fresh is usually adopted by young people, former US Secretary of State, George Shutz, comes to contradict us. He drives a Nissan Leaf which he charges using the solar panels fitted to the roof of his Stanford home, an investment which he says has long paid for itself.
As a man with most of his life behind him, Mr. Shultz has a certain wisdom about him, talking about the future, his three, soon to be four grandchildren and the kind of world they will be growing up in. The fact that he is driving on 100% renewable power really says something about him.

He also predicts that it will take no more than 5 years for EVs to become competent enough to really challenge conventionally-powered machines, and we genuinely hope he is right - maybe he is more in the know than we are!
