He drives a Nissan Leaf which he charges using the solar panels fitted to the roof of his Stanford home, an investment which he says has long paid for itself.
As a man with most of his life behind him, Mr. Shultz has a certain wisdom about him, talking about the future, his three, soon to be four grandchildren and the kind of world they will be growing up in. The fact that he is driving on 100% renewable power really says something about him.
