Over the past few years, Ford has moved its products ever so slightly into the premium price range. For example, gone are the days when you'd buy a Fiesta with black plastic bumpers and no air conditioning. A top-spec Titanium model with cool paint and the EcoBoost engine will cost you as much as a MINI.
Ford has witnessed that premium car brands like BMW and Mercedes or Audi have moved their products lower down into the price range. So with the firm belief in its technology, the four-letter American brand is venturing into the premium segment as well.

Vignale targets the gray area above the Titanium trim level. It offers you things like leather covered dashboards and different trim for the seats and door cars, creating a lounge atmosphere.

Two concepts were shown in Frankfurt this month to preview the Vignale line, the next-gen S-Max and Mondeo models, which we've already covered in detail in our live report.

See how Ford justified the Vignale range in the three latest videos below.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
