Despite popular belief, NASCAR drivers can do more than just take left turns all day on an oval track. In fact, most of them have already raced at several non-NASCAR events, while the others have enjoyed a lot of course driving in their career.
Recently, some of Ford Racing’s drivers, including Aric Almirola, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Trevor Bayne took a trip to Miller Motorsports Park in Utah to do some road-racing at the Blue Oval’s High Performance Driving School.

The result? A really neat video broadcasted via Ford Racing TV that we have loved to be a part of. And from what the drivers are saying, they learned a lot.

“I’m getting a lot of practice going left, going right and I’m learning techniques to make cars turn a little bit better,” said Ricky Stenhouse Jr. “It’s just fun to come out here, we’re learning a lot. We’re giving these Mustangs a run for their money. We’re wearing out brakes and tires, and I’m wearing out my steering wheel,” added Aric Almirola.
