Ford EV Smartphone App

Many top automotive producers are promoting electric vehicles, but in order for these cars to become widespread, the industry needs to facilitate their use and an important part of this is represented by the smartphone apps that allow users to manage their EVs.
The latest development of this kind comes from Ford, which is introducing the MyFord Mobile app, which allows users to log driving data and compare their performance with other green drivers, with the stats being uploaded to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

You’ll also be able to find the closest charging stations thanks to a collaboration with MapQuest, with this aiming to make your EV life better. In addition to that, you can use the Value Charging function that was co-developed with Microsoft. This allows you to set a charging time from the car and take advantage of the lower electricity rates offered at night.
