Ford Ditches Branding in Brilliant New Commercial

There used to be a time when car commercials were great, but in recent years, along with the uniformization of all cars and their design, the commercials promoting them have also suffered from a lack of originality. Here, at autoevolution, we were really impressed with the idea behind it and the execution of this wonderful and original piece of film.
Instead of doing something that someone had already done, multiple timies, Ford went for originality, and they're all the better for it. The main theme of the ad is launching a new car and then trying to sell it without mentioning its name or any record of it. It’s a new car which you would buy because you liked the design and the technology behind it and not because of the badge or some magazine which tells you what to like and what not to like. The idea and the philosophy behind the ad is a sheer stroke of genius on Ford’s part.

Enjoy the commercial and imagine what the world would be like if we were able actually choose what products we want to buy, instead of being brainwashed into submission by the media.
