Ford’s Australian arm today announced the pricing for the FG Falcon MkII range, with the company bragging that this is the Falcon that offers the best value for money in the model’s history.
The most popular model, the sports XR6, receives a long list of standard equipment, including an 8.0-inch color touch screen multimedia centre, USB integration, 18-inch alloy wheels, side curtain airbags, reverse sensing system and projector headlamps. The vehicle, which is set to be released by the end of the year, can be yours for under AU$40,000, coming with an extra value of AU$5,500 compared to the outgoing model.
As for the luxury-orientated G6E and the dynamic-focused G6E Turbo, these will come with 8.0-inch color touch screen multimedia centre incorporating a satellite navigation system, plus LED position lamps, an alarm and new, larger diameter alloy wheels, bringing an added value of AU$8,000.
The Falcon Ute models bring added customer value of between AU$4,500 and AU$6,000.
"With fresh exterior styling, a host of new features and the latest smart technologies boosting Falcon's already extensive equipment levels, together with a customer-focused new pricing strategy, it delivers outstanding value for large car buyers and builds on the rich heritage of the Falcon brand," Ford Australia President & CEO Bob Graziano said.
