Jump Adam, jump! 1 photo

Opel's motorsport activities are all about the grass roots part of it all right now, focusing on younger drivers, smaller cars and lower entry prices into the world or racing. The Adam is getting its feet wet as a rally cup car and we're proud to see just what it can do.
A video of several Adam Cup racers jumping a small hill got us all hot and bothered, so now we're bringing that action to your PC screens.

Watching the Opel Adam jump is like watching seeing a toddler doing parkour or rallycross. You have to hand it to the Germans for doing this, because they could have just as well used the money to make car ads or mall displays. Instead, they did something worth watching with a can of brew in your hand.

In case this little rally car seems like a joke to you, we'll tell you it's actually got a 1.6-liter with 150 horsepower. A full roll cage and everything else you need to go racing can be yours from as little as €25,000 ($32,530).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
