China still has a lot to learn when it comes to things westerners are already used, things we usually take as granted. You might laugh but until not long ago, even Skittles were banned in Communist China, depriving the poor Chinese people from being able to taste the rainbow.
Well, at how cloudy, dark and polluted the air is in major cities around the Asian country, even if a rainbow was to appear, it’s most likely nobody would really see it.

That’s probably why some people felt the need to create their own, palpable one, using their cars. Two guys changed their cars in matte purple and baby blue looking to add some color to the old, dull, permanent grey they have to face around the city every day.

Fortunately, a Carnewschina reader spotted them and quickly took a photo. The wrap on the matte purple one seems to be still a work in progress, as the rear bumper still has an exposed part, showing the original color of the 3er (by the looks of it, Alpine White).

On the other hand, the baby blue 335i looks like it came like this from BMW’s own assembly line, which means he payed a pretty penny for it. Come to think of it, it does kind-of remind us of the Yas Marina Blue color developed for the new M3. What do you think?
