Mocking BMWs seems to be a trend in China as more and more poorly ‘decorated’ cars end up on the internet for people to make fun of. The latest iteration is a pink X3 that actually made me gag the first time I saw it.
Somehow, someone thought that the SUV wasn’t a manly car and deserved a pink wrap all around with white rims. That’s right, WHITE RIMS! I haven’t seen an uglier combination since... the last time I checked out carnewschina.com.
The thing is, this owner clearly has a lot of money as the X3 is quite expensive in the communist country (as is any other model with the BMW roundel on the bonnet), starting at CNY523,000 ($86,000). Add the personalized license plates to the mix and you’re starring at, at least, $100,000.
However, as long as the owner is satisfied, what does it matter what the rest of the world thinks, right?
