Lexus did an absolutely amazing job with the 2014 IS sporty sedan, fitting it with both great looks, increased comfort and a lot more onboard tech.
AutoTrader wanted to give us a quick recap over the stunning sedan, by releasing their “5 Reasons to Buy” short guide, highlighting the vehicle’s most important features.
Starting with the obvious, the first reason to buy a 2014 Lexus IS is its looks. The previous somehow common-looking generation now turned into a bold-looking machine that stands out through its massive spindle grille, insect-like headlights and wraparound taillamps that continue their line deep downwards meeting the side skirts under the rear doors.
Second reason - two V6 engines available. The IS 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine making 204 hp, while the IS 350 has a 3.5-liter one boasting 306 hp.
Next comes the interior, which has been completely redesigned, with the dashboard now reminding of an LFA supercar. You will also find one of the best driving position behind the new IS’ wheel, touch-sensitive controls and a big display infotainment system controlled via Lexus’ Remote Control system.
