Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition Tested by Truck Trend

The special Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition is the best pickup the automaker has on offer right now. The limited edition model pays tribute to the old ranch the Toyota plant in Texas stands on right now.

Built in the Texas spirit, the full-option Tundra comes with a special metallic brown paint, bigger chrome rims, a unique front grille, special badging and a luxury interior, wrapped in soft brown leather with contrast stitching, metal and wood trimming, special floor mats, heated/ventilated front seats and more. Bull horns on the bonnet are not included though...

The 1794 Edition comes only with the CrewMax cab and power is still provided by the 5.7-liter V8 putting out 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Recently tested by Truck Trend, the top-grade Tundra made an impression with its styling, interior space and luxury as well as the engine, which is still a strong choice, enabling the truck to tow 10,400 lbs.
