Five Axis Scion tC Breaks Loose at NYIAS

Scion is using an aggressive marketing campaign for its new products, taking full advantage of the New York International Auto Show. The carmaker chose to introduce custom versions (developed by the Five Axis tuner) of the iQ minicar and the tC coupe at the same time with the standard versions of the cars.

As we’ve already shown you the iQ, the Five Axis iQ and the tC, we now give you the badass version of the coupe, which comes in a special color, called Bloodshot.

This comes dressed in a body kit that adds four inches of boldness to the game. The front fascia has been redesigned, featuring extra wide air intakes and an extremely aggressive mesh grille. The wheel arches are now beefier and the same can be said for the side skirts. The rear of the tC has received a new fascia that comes with an unusually-shaped air diffuser and integrates bespoke exhaust tips. The vehicle’s spoiler has been replaced with one that features an angular design.

The coupe’s suspension system now uses Tein adjustable coil-overs, while its braking system has been replaced with a more capable one that uses 355x28 mm 2 piece discs & 4 piston calipers for the front axle and 332x28mm 2 piece discs & 2 piston calipers for the rear axle. The car comes with new 20 inch wheels, which use Yokohama Advan Sport Tires (245/30 - front and 295/25 -rear).

The Five Axis treats its passengers with a series of special trim and color enhancements, custom leather seats, new floor mats, a fresh upholstery and custom materials.
