The French Riviera may have the highest supercar population density in Europe but this has also confronted the authorities with plenty of exotic car drivers that have “douchebag” written all over them, so the level of tolerance sits somewhere around absolute zero. The poor supercars thus fall victim to their driver’s ignorance, as is the case with the Lamborghini Huracan above.
The Huracan was towed away in Cannes earlier today - as you can see, the infamous* French towing machine holds the Lambo by its rear wheels, being ready to do its dirty job. All we have so far is this image, so we can’t tell exactly what happened there. By the way, it looks like the Huracan’s driver left it to rest in a bus station.

Still, renting supercars is a widespread business in the area, so this could be yet another case of disrespect towards a supercar.

*Last time we saw the rather compact beast in action, its operator mistreated a Lamborghini Gallardo that, admittedly, was just as badly parked as the Huracan we’re talking about.

You see, while the towing machine has a dedicated extension for grabbing the supercar’s rear wheels, the Lamborghini’s all-wheel drive means a pair of small-wheeled platforms need to be placed under the front wheels before the car can be taken away. Factor in the microscopic ground clearance Lamborghini models sport when their nose lift systems are not on and you’ll understand that placing the aforementioned platform can cause some damage to the Raging Bulls’ noses.

Unfortunately, no footage of the even is available at the moment, so we don’t know how the situation was handled on this occasion. Still, the Huracan’s driver takes the award for the first documented idiot who managed to have the V10 supercar towed away.

Ironically, the Huracan is now easier to reach than ever for people over in Cannes, since Lamborghini inaugurated a dealership in the area (Cannet) last month.
