The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat may have made our day with its quarter mile time, but its arch enemy, the Mustang Shelby GT500, fights back in mysterious ways. To be more precise, a man wearing this exact... designation was arrested last night in Des Moines, IA.
No, your muscle car senses aren’t playing tricks on you. This guy is actually named Shelby Mustang GT500 Miller. Oh well, at least we know his dad wasn’t a Mopar fan.

Still, V8 jokes have no place here, as this 26-year old apparently prefers hatchets. We’ll get to this in a minute, but first let’s see how it all started.

A police patrol was driving by the interestingly-named Cheap Sports Bar around 1 AM on July 10 when they saw Miller and another man engaged in what appeared to be violent activities, as Press Citizen writes. When he saw the officers, Miller dropped the altercation and left the scenes, explaining to the officers that it was all a verbal matter. However, the other side told the policemen Miller had taken his shirt off and appeared ready to engage in a fight.

While Miller’s friends told police officers they would take him home, the policemen decided to remain on site for a little longer. Probably not to their surprise, Miller returned to the bar soon.

Subsequently, a man came out of the bathroom with a hatchet, telling police officers Miller had introduced it to the toilet after hiding it under his shirt. Since this wasn’t a fashion police case, they left Miller’s obsession for doing stuff with his short unsanctioned, but arrested him for the rest of the stuff. To be more precise, he was charged for going armed with intent, public intoxication and a parole violation.

Miller is currently in jail with no bond. Oh well, the Polk County Jail is not that far away from Miller’s presumed birthplace in Flatrock, Michigan, as only 590 miles separate the two locations.

PS: we’ve taken the liberty to edit the portrait Miller received from the Polk County Sheriff's Office
