The Fiat 500 is truly a resounding success - even the Americans seem to love it. However, closer to its home market of Europe, Fiat has just launched a new version of the popular retro-inspired city runabout, called the 500 Street. With such a name, you’d expect it to get garbage bin wheel covers and graffiti decals on the body, but no!
What it does get are standard dark tinted windows, special alloy wheels and satin chrome finish on the door handles and mirrors. Fiat is also offering a unique choice of colors with this specific version, with customers able to opt for Bossanova White, Pasodoble Red, Crossover Black, Electroclash Grey or even Matt Black.

Pricing for this particular 500 kicks off in the UK at £11,360 for the basic 1.2-liter engine or £13,760 for the 1.3-liter diesel - it is priced similarly to the Lounge version. It also costs £1,400 more than the 500 Pop and gets £1,800-worth of extras.

Fiat Group Automobiles UK Marketing Director, Elena Bernardelli said “I am delighted that we have announced the arrival of the Street, which offers a fresh approach to the Fiat 500 range [. . .] Its combination of bold, sporty looks with a high level of standard equipment will make it a serious consideration for any value-conscious buyer.
