Fiat 500 Abarth Onboard Lap at Imola

The Fiat 500 Abarth is one of the most popular performance-oriented small cars, having gained an impressive fan base since its introduction. Marchettino has had his for nearly two years, and has recently taken it for a spin around the famous Imola race track.
The car seems very predictable and not at all snappy, as one would expect from a car with such a short wheelbase. It seems to be very planted and while it does understeer when pushed too hard, it seems to always be easily correctable with some lift-off action.

While it may not be as quick as a Porsche Cayman (which passes it at one point), for the money, the 500 Abarth is a lot of fun, while also looking very cool and retro in the process - it is much more of a nod to the original 500 of the 1960s than the Mini, for instance.
