At the beginning of the year, The Little Car Company unveiled the Testa Rossa J Pacco Gara. Made in partnership with Ferrari, it's a scaled ode to the iconic 250 Testa Rossa with a few added bits, and you can now build your ideal copy via the official online configurator.
The tool lets web surfers choose between the regular Ferrari Testa Rossa J, which is a 75% reproduction of the 250 Testa Rossa, and the Pacco Gara (Italian for Race Package) upgrade. The latter adds stuff such as the detachable roll cage, racing harness, spotlights, and an additional side mirror, and also brings a quicker ratio steering rack, adjustable dampers, drilled brake discs, a tonneau cover, and increased power.

Since it costs nothing to virtually configure the model, we went for the Pacco Gara variant, giving it the LM 02B finish, which mixes red for the entire body with a few white accents. A racing number is a must for anyone into motorsport, and in this case, it bedecks the doors and the nose between the headlights. The final upgrade available for this vehicle is the Premium Borranni wheelset. Next up, you'll be asked to reserve your Testa Rossa J, but before doing that, you should share your build with us in the comments section below.

As you probably already know from our initial coverage a few months back, the Ferrari Testa Rossa J won't break any speed. Despite looking ready to be thrashed at the local racetrack every now and then, it's nothing more than a more advanced pedal car that uses electric power to move around, with a small motor that sips electrons from a tiny battery. According to The Little Car Company, you get 12 kilowatts in the normal variant or 16 horsepower, and if you upgrade to the Pacco Gara specification, then it will have 14 kW or 19 hp to play with. There is still no word on the top speed, but the standard model can max out at 50 mph (80 kph).

Mirroring the looks of the iconic 250 Testa Rossa, the new Ferrari Testa Rossa J originally premiered some two years ago. Production was capped at 299 units, and each one used to start at €93,000 on the right side of the pond, or $102,870 at today's exchange rates. We still don't know how much the Pacco Gara edition costs, but you can bet on the fact that it is way pricier than the normal variant of this model, which targets people aged 14 and up and is not road legal. That's a lot of money for a toy, but to the ultimate collector, it's probably pocket change. And it's also far less than the real thing, which sits in the eight-digit category.
