As expected from the Prancing Horse of Maranello, the order banks for the F167 opened prior to the super grand tourer's debut on May 2 in Miami. A plethora of peeps on the Ferrari Chat forum have confirmed that Ferrari dealers are taking deposits for the 812 Superfast-replacing model, which is currently showing in the system as a coupe.
Hearsay suggests that Ferrari will show the spider on May 2 as well, but given that dealers cannot place orders for the spider, you should take said rumor with a grain of salt. On the other hand, carparazzo Varryx did capture a camouflaged F167S testing on the public roads of Maranello.

Varryx also shared two renderings of the F167 on his Instagram, with said renders credited to Ferrari Chat members Isot and Ingegnere. As you can tell from the attached pics, the front end is loosely inspired by the 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

The hood is reportedly hinged at the front bumper. When the F167 was testing with Roma body panels, a certain prototype was captured with the bonnet hinged at the firewall and latched at the front bumper. This particular setup is used by all versions of the 812, plus the Roma Coupe and Spider.

Two vents in the hood, an active rear wing, and a rear light bar are rumored as well. The light bar is the most plausible of the bunch, for the Prancing Horse already proved that it knows how to make beautiful rear light bars with the SF90 XX, Daytona SP3, and the 812-based Monza SP1 and SP2.

Speaking of which, the aforementioned vehicles are powered by different versions of the 6.5-liter V12 that Ferrari dubs F140. The most powerful of the bunch is that of the Daytona SP3 (840 metric ponies or 829 mechanical horsepower), whereas the torquiest specification can be found in the Monza SP1 and SP2 (719 Nm or 530 pound-feet).

Recently spied with a digital instrument cluster showing a red 10, thus indicating a redline of 10,000 revolutions per minute, Ferrari's next-generation super GT is believed to better the 812 Competizione with a maximum output rating of 850 ps. That means 838 horsepower without any sort of electrical assistance to improve fuel economy.

We also expect a new transaxle for the F167, namely the Magna 8DCL900 that betters the 7DCL750 in the 812 Superfast. The 8 stands for eight forward gears, while 900 indicates the maximum torque rating (900 Nm or 664 pound-feet). If the F167 does exceed the 812 Competizione's advertised output, we can further look forward to rear-wheel steering and electronic driving aids such as the latest version of Side Slip Control.

Due to increasingly prohibitive fuel economy and emission regulations, which forced the Prancing Horse to replace the V8-powered F8 series with the V6-powered 296 series, the F167 is certain to be priced a little higher than the 812 Superfast.
