Ferrari’s Corse Clienti progam (the one that allows customers to drive racing cars on tracks) is known for offering one of the most “civilian” racing experiences in the world.

The latest event included in the program is a three day Nurburgring session that debuted on July 28. The mortals are being allowed to play with the road car-connected 599XX (15 units) and FXX (four units).

At Germany’s Nurburgring circuit, three days of testing got underway with fifteen Ferrari 599XX and four FXX, the amazing laboratory-cars of the eponymous development programme, taking to the track for some free practice sessions,” stated the press release.

But this is not all. The best part is that Ferrari is also offering F1 sensations for its clients, as it has brought ten F1 cars to the party, including the F190 used by Nigel Mansell for the 1990 championship, Gerhard Berger’s 412 T1 (which won the 1994 German Grand Prix), Michael Schumacher’s F300 (a vehicle with a long list of victories) and the F2007 (this took both World titles in 2007).

Coming together at this special event is the present and the future, represented by these non-homologated sports cars and the Maranello company’s past, in the shape of some of the single-seaters that have written their part in Scuderia Ferrari’s Formula 1 history. Ten of these will be in action in Germany, run by the F1 Clienti Department of Maranello, taking turns on the circuit so that their owners can experience the excitement of driving on of the most famous tracks in motor sport,” stated the press release.
